Huachuca Mountains

Well we stayed up until 12am to usher in the new year then woke back up at 5:30am to try and be prepared to catch the moon set cause it was so spectacular. The was beautiful and striking but did set in the same way it did just the day before.. The sun rise was stunning in it's own right and allthough is is not what I set out to capture it has wonderfull colors.

Well it was a goal of mine to post a pic a day and I was going to start tomorrow but on my way to work today I was bleassed with the most amazing moon set. I did not have my tripod, the right lens on initially, or a jacket on but I took a number of shots anyway and captured this one from the cemetary. I will try and get at least one of the girls up and try to get a better picture tomorrow.
